With a vast array of education from Fireman, EMT, RIT Instructor to Trainer for Arboriculture of Canada Chainsaw safety, and certifications from HAZ-MAT, NIMS ICS, Rope Rescue Technician level (MUSAR), Dustin is a prepared individual in a vast array of scenarios - Farms to Terrorism.



ISA CEU's and TCIA CTSP credits are available.

Class size limited to 25 people.


Accidents involving chainsaws are a significant concern for tree care and landscape employers, the employees who operate the equipment, and manufacturers alike. Strong anecdotal information from the field tells us that chain saw operators receive little or no formal training on chainsaw operation and field maintenance.


This 1 day course will cover all aspects of chainsaw safety, handling, maintenance including the six-step felling process of how to properly fell a tree also dealing with trees after they are on the ground limbing and bucking. Some hands-on performing of notching, saw handling and felling will be incorporated. This course is MIOSHA M-TEC GRANT FUNDED.
