Cancellation Policy:
The registration form serves as a contract between the conference registrant and ISA Michigan. Payment for the services provided by ISA Michigan is the responsibility of the conference registrant. Payment in full will remain due if the registrant is absent or cancels after the deadline date. The conference registrant agrees to these terms and the contract becomes active upon ISA Michigan receiving the completed registration.

EHAP - All arborists must be trained to recognize and avoid electrical hazards. Electrical Hazard Awareness Program (EHAP) helps you meet yearly OSHA & MIOSHA safety requirements for anyone who works near utility lines.

Mon, Feb. 12 - CPR/Adult First Aid (PM ONLY)
Details:
Time: 1:00-5:00pm
Instructor: Don Watson, Wright Tree Service, American Red Cross Instructor
Every crew should have at least one person qualified to administer first aid /CPR. For line clearance certified tree crews there must be a minimum of two CPR Certified crew members. This class follows the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR Program. Participants will learn to recognize/respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed.

The ISA’s Utility Specialist credential is offered to ISA Certified Arborists with demonstrated experience in utility arboriculture. Candidates must pass an exam covering a broad range of topics specific to utility arboriculture. ISA’s Utility Specialist Certification Study Guide is peer reviewed, researched and referenced to ensure it aligns with current trends and practices. However, it should be noted that exam content is not dictated by the guide. Authors Randall H. Miller and Geoff Kempter will provide an overview of the study guide. Questions and discussion will be encouraged.
