Michigan Tree Valuation Guide Workshop

This event will feature a presentation of the 12th Edition of the MICHIGAN TREE VALUATION GUIDE, a supplemental guide for Michigan arborists. Participants will learn the Cost of Cure Approach to monetary tree valuation utilizing Replacement and Trunk Formula methods. The inherent depreciation factors will be considered for each method using Species, Location and Condition as they impact value. This participatory discussion will be followed by realistic evaluation of trees in the arboretum, followed by in-class review and discussions. Copies of the 12th Edition Michigan Tree Valuation Guide will be available for sale and provided onsite to those purchasing copies with event registration. Lunch provided.
